Water-resistant VS

Water-Repellent VS

Waterproof 

1.     Water-resistant

This offers the lowest level of water protection. Like tightly woven fabrics offer a degree of water resistance because it takes some time for water to seep through the material. But not fully waterproof

Water-resistant: able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely

2.    Water-Repellent

Water repellence is a step up from water resistance, which means water cannot easily penetrate the material. Instead, water beads on the outside. Water-Repellent is medium level of protection 

3.     Waterproof

Waterproof is highest level of protection from water and fully capable to prevent water penetrate to the object like house, building etc. it is rainproof, Impermeable, Impervious, Airtight, Sealed.
